How It Works

From measurement to recommendation

The full sizing flow is designed to take around 10 to 20 seconds while the customer is still in front of you.

01

Enter Measurements

The associate takes bust or chest, waist and hips — plus height for children — and enters them in centimetres or inches. Large inputs are designed for quick one-handed use beside the fitting room.

02

Select Garment Category

Dresses, shirts, trousers, jeans, jackets, suits and knitwear each carry their own measurement ranges, because a tailored dress and a knitted jumper do not fit the same way.

03

Get Recommended Size

The Right Size scores the measurements against every size band in that category and returns one clear recommendation, the closest alternatives either side, and international equivalents.

Separate logic per department

Women, men and children use independent size scales. There is no single universal conversion applied across everything.

International equivalents

UK, US, EU, France, Italy, Australia / New Zealand, Japan, Canada and letter sizing from XXS to XXXL.

Reverse lookup

Start from a size and see the approximate body measurements behind it — useful when a customer only knows the size they usually buy.

Replaceable size data

Sizing data sits apart from the interface, structured for retailer, brand, department and category, so official charts can be dropped in later.
